Lessons learned this week:
God is greater than my middle-of-the-night fears
Most of what we complain about are "first world problems"
I never should have taught Peter the term, "first world problems" - I will never get sympathy again
This week I'm thankful for:
1131. I've said it before, I'll say it again: flannel sheets and...
1132. ...Our heated mattress pad
1133. Thick, fleece blankets
1134. God bringing scripture to mind in the midst of fear
1135. Bible verses memorized in childhood
1136. That it was cold enough this week to pull out my "pumpkin" coat {happy dance}
1137. Peter being able to come home a bit earlier this week (still long days, but not QUITE so long)
1138. Progress on Project 312
1139. Big pots of soup and leftover soup
1140. Time to spend reliving a favorite childhood activity: carving pumpkins
What are YOU thankful for this week?
Grateful for friends who offer encouragement. Thankful for a husband who's willing to work hard for our marriage. Grateful for the Spirit's control when our flesh gets in the way. Thankful for peace after the storm.
ReplyDeleteI love the pumpkin coat. I am thankful for the quiet little moments at home. They're perfect. :)
ReplyDeleteLoving the fact that you carved letters out of the pumpkins! Very cool carving!
