Italian Roast Beef for sandwiches. My favorite brand comes, freshly sliced, from the Fresh Market deli section, and is amazing when paired with the pub cheese.

Sparkling Pumpkin Cider (also from Fresh Market) - yes, yes there is such a thing. Are you surprised that I know about it?

Toasted English Loaf slices (I get mine from the Fresh Market), then slather #1 on the toasted slices, and layer on #2. Add slices of tomato (if desired) and thinly sliced red onions - best.sandwich.ever. I'm completely hooked.
This photo came from a blogger in Singapore - don't know if the recipe is similar to my favorite Fresh Market loaf

Pumpkin Spice Tea - which is crazy expensive (in my cheap opinion), but so worth it once (or maybe twice) a year. We use two tea bags and get a full pot of tea out of them, so they stretch. Not overly pumpkin, but enough to remind you that it is, in fact, fall.
Only Fresh Market because that's where I first found it, but it's also available online.
What have you found this week that I need to know about?
What's your favorite flavor of hot tea?
Not a tea drinker - share your favorite sandwich!
Mmm.... all of that looks good. May have to try that sandwich! Favorite tea (at the moment, anyway): Bigelow "Constant Comment," but I also love "Mint Medley," "Lady Grey," and just plain ol' Peppermint. I haven't tried that pumpkin tea - may have to pick up some of that as well. And on the topic of pumpkins, I finally tried some of those Pumpkin flavored Hershey Kisses, and boy howdy, are they good. I think my friend found them at Wal-Mart, if you've been looking. Thanks for the recommendations...
ReplyDeleteSandwich looks yummy! You can make it for me next time I am in TN! :) Had some Pumpkin Spice creamer in my coffee this morning. Yummy!!! Bought it at ALDI! Love that cheap store!!
ReplyDeleteI drink more coffee than tea, but do love Spiced Tea. Good for a cough! Favorite sandwich? Don't have one, but had the best grilled cheese EVER in a little restaurant in Jackson Hole, Wyoming back in the mid-90's!! I think it was called something like The Blue Moon Cafe. Will have to ask our other seestor.... going pumpkin picking next week with boys!!!
Probably my all-time, any-time-of-year favorite sandwich is chicken breast (not deli, but sliced from a home-roasted or rotisserie bird), mayo with lemon zest, thinly sliced onion (just a kiss of it), bacon, avocado, and pepper on toasted white bread or a baguette. In summer, add basil leaves. Bliss.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite flavor of tea is Celestial Seasonings True Blueberry. My favorite sandwich is tuna salad and sharp cheddar cheese slices on toasted English muffins
