Lessons learned this week:
Just because you think you should be able to do it, doesn't mean you can.
Admitting that fact is hard, but healthy.
People appreciate honesty.
This week I'm thankful for:
1071. A difficult discussion with a good resolution
1072. My job
1073. Homemade chicken noodle soup on a rainy day
1074. Days when it rains all.day.long.
1075. A successful book launch
1076. Forgiveness when mistakes are made
1077. My pharmacy friends
1078. The impact that practicing an attitude of gratitude has on my life
1079. The testimony of peace from a brother-in-Christ who has been given 4 months to live.
Pray for Steve and his wife, daughter, son-in-law, and grandkids.
1080. The pumpkins on my front steps
What are YOU giving thanks for today?
Today I am thankful for being able, barely, to carve out time for a quick trip to Williamsburg, VA with our youngest, nearly-grown son. I am thankful for comfortable weather. I am thankful for discovering YOU, Carrie, via Anne Bogel's Modern Mrs. Darcy, because I suspect we will become friends even though you love DD coffee, and I'm a Starbucks/Peet's gal!
ReplyDeleteI'm so thankful for God's direction and leading, and the encouragement and support of friends, which all led to my first ebook coming out today!! It's amazing how God leads when you're where He wants you to be!
ReplyDeleteI'm thankful for team members who keep me smiling!
