C.S. Lewis once said, “You are never too old to set another goal or to dream a new dream." Dream BIG. After going "there and back again," The Hubs & I have created a home that is full of books, stimulating conversation, and the laughter of our five kids. We have been the recipients of Amazing Grace, and our life goals can be summed up in four words: Love God, love people.

I remember.
ReplyDeleteI remember we were talking at the cabin when it happened. I still get a know in my stomach on this day, but know God is sovereign. That brings me much peace!
ReplyDeleteIt did not matter WHERE in the world one was, 9/11 affected all of us. My boss had just gone off on a well-deserved holiday with his family and we were frantically trying to contact him before he boarded the plane. Delhi was on alert and I got a call from the family to come home immediately.
ReplyDeleteA few years later, friends with family in New York told me how a last minute cancelled meeting saved a family member's life and I gave thanks that at least one life was saved for all the others that were lost to a global tragedy.
