Thankful For :: 1011 - 1020

Just in case you missed it - the Olympics are going on right now. I have to say that as much as I love watching the incredible athletes that are competing (it's hard for me to choose a favorite event), these two weeks every two years make me so thankful that we're not in the habit of watching TV on a regular basis. It kills the tiny amount of time that we have together in the evenings. Peter comes home, we eat dinner, we walk on the treadmill and watch the Olympic highlights, and then we go to bed. However, despite my views on the time waster know as TV, you'll see what made #1011 on the list! I'm just glad it only comes around every two years.

1013. The opportunity to exercise my right to VOTE in the primary

1015. An opportunity for an easy second side job (at home) - so blessed!

1017. The story of grace, as told by my friend's father

1018. Rain - I do love rainy days!

1019. A wonderful work review for Peter, and that he still really likes his job!

1020. The opportunity to catch up with a friend of like-minded opinions & similar experiences. Encouraging!
