Thankful For :: 961 - 970

First things first - thank you so much for all the delightful anniversary comments last week! You were all so kind and sweet, and I appreciate you taking the time to leave a comment. Someone asked Peter if he could believe it had been 12 years, and Peter responded, "Sometimes it feels a lot longer than that." The questioner gasped, thinking that I would take offence to that, but I knew exactly what he meant.

These last 12 years have flown by, so yes, in some sense, it doesn't seem possible that we've been walking through life as husband and wife for 12 years. It seems like just yesterday we were saying, "I Do" and making plans for the future. However, as the years pass, it becomes harder and harder to remember a time when it was "Peter will..." or "I will...", rather than, "WE will..." It does feel like it's been forever, and I'm grateful for that.

964. That He who began a good work in me, will be faithful to complete it

965. An opportunity to actually meet my boss in person

966. Road trips with my favorite traveling companion

967. A successful hip replacement surgery for my father-in-law (now on to recovery!)

968. Wood-fired pizza

969. Sparkling grape juice from the Biltmore

970. Spending the last 12 years with the man who is better than all of my dreams
