Want to know what I was like as a child? This photo sums it up...
There are three things you need to know about this photo: 1) I'm wearing my mother's green wool skirt (safety pinned to hold it up) in mid-summer, 2) I'm also wearing a yellow patchwork apron (a la "Little House") while roller skating, and 3) I was learning how to French braid and it didn't matter what the end result was, I went out that way. I was a unique (that's a nice way to say, kooky oddball) child. When it comes down to it, I guess I'm still uniquely oddball-ish (but my French braids look a lot better).

Must-read-once-a-year book?

Favorite Dunkin' Donut - just in case you're ever wondering, "Hmm...I'm at DD, I wonder what Carrie would get if she were here..."

The DD Sour Cream - your quandary is at an end (you're welcome).

Most memorable childhood vacation?
Hawaii (1987) - Memorable because my mom forgot to pack my bathing suit, so we had to buy one in the hotel shops. I thought I had died and gone to heaven because all of my bathing suits up to that point had come from K-Mart or Hill's, and this one actually had a matching jacket/cover-up! Mom thought she was going to die when she looked at the price tag.

Least favorite household chore?
Cleaning the bathrooms (followed closely by cleaning the floors - in fact, it could be a tie)
And that's it for today, folks. Another rousing round of "Getting to Know You", presented by yours truely. Thanks for visiting and come again!

The Westing Game is one of my favorites. LOVE. I don't mind cleaning the bathroom. My least favorite chore? Unloading the dishwasher.
