Work was incredibly hectic last week, but on top of everything else, I came down with something - as yet to be determined as a cold or allergies. I'm leaning towards the latter, but all I really know is that my nose has gone into full-on rebellion against being used for breathing and my mouth has been forced to pick up the slack. Hello dry mouth and chapped lips - I haven't missed you. It snowed on Sunday, so I was half-way hopeful that it would put a damper on whatever it is that seems to be bugging me - but no such luck. Today my ears joined the fray (itching) which causes me to lean even more towards the allergy theory. At any rate, I had high hopes of taking pictures of my parent's hands for this weeks You Capture, but I just never got the chance (though it's on the list of things I want to do in the future). Make sure you check out what others are sharing for You Capture this week over @I Should Be Folding Laundry. Have a great week everyone and happy capturing!
My nose, the "problem child". But for more reality, you can also see the redness of my cheeks which appears to be the result of Rosacea. I'm trying a new OTC topical gel to see if it will reduce the symptoms - here's hoping!
I'm so thankful for my fingers and hands and all that they allow me to do. When the barometric pressure changes I can tell because they ache - thanks to some family genes for that - but they WORK and they are WHOLE and I am thankful that each morning they allow me to hold my cup of coffee!
Cute St Patrick's Day picture. My favourite. Did you photoshop it to get the green background or do you already have that perfect shade of green in your house?
