I liked the one yellow leaf that I didn't even notice until I uploaded the pictures!
I'm also learning about Photoshop by doing this - bonus!
My lettuce is finished, but I'm hoping to collect the seeds for next year
Splish, splash - again, unaware that I caught it until I uploaded. Nice surprise!
We planted gardenias last summer and they smell so good!
I'm not sure what it is about this one, but I like it (perhaps because you can see our porch swing in the reflection?). It just says "summer" to me.
Thanks for stopping by and make sure you check out all the other great photo links that Beth (@I Should Be Folding Laundry) is hosting for You Capture this week.
You got some awesome shots in the rain - nice!! I have yet to really play with my camera in the rain much...but winters here are totally rainy and ick so I'll have plenty of time if I'm brave enough to get my camera a little bit wet.
ReplyDeleteYour lettuce plants look like mine right now...although ours are starting to get the fuzzy white stuff now too. Also hoping to get some seed from them...not sure I'll manage to get it at the right moment though.
I like the raindrop one! Very brave of you to go outside and use your equipment in the rain.
ReplyDeleteCame from you capture! Great raindrops, I am forever shooting the rain falling into the rain barrel outside.
ReplyDeleteOoh I really like this set good job, The first one is just fun and the flag with the B&W background is great! But my fav is the splash! Great job!

ReplyDeletehey! thanks for stopping by my blog :)
ReplyDeleteI LOVE your rain pics! I live on the coast of CA and we RARELY get summer rain. Most of ours is in the chilly winter months, making it even colder. I grew up in the desert and really miss the afternoon rains in the summer.
Love the deck shot. The yellow leaf was sure a welcome surprise! It makes the picture. :)
and I thinks the last picture- with the thermometer in the foreground is fabulous. It does say summer to me also. The flag in the background. The rainy day and its still 70+ degrees outside. Love it!
I love your rainy day shots. I can't decide if my favourite is the yellow leaf or splish, splash.
