Stepping Out...

There comes a time when you just have to step outside of your comfort zone. We're in the process of doing that (career changes) and while it can be scary as all get out, it can also be super exciting! So let me tell you a story about one such change currently occuring...

Once upon a time there was a young high school student, a newly arrived MK from Peru, who was given an English class assignment. The assignment was to write a children's story and his story was a success. For almost eighteen years the story waited in a file cabinet for someone to publish it. Along comes a nice lady (who happens to be the wife of previously mentioned MK) who does a lot of research and finds a way to get the book published. She also finds an illustrator for the book who will work for cheap. Hooray! Now the former-MK and his wife are in the final stages of getting the book published and are hoping lots of people will buy it on Amazon. The End.

So in the future, keep your eyes open for a book with a front cover that looks something like this...
